SAS: Space. Aesthetics. Senses.

SPACE is the quintessential element in interior design. Through the volume of space, we not only move; we see forms, hear sounds, feel gentle breezes and the warmth of the sun, and smell the fragrances of flowers in bloom. Once an element is placed within a space, a visual relationship is established and multiple relationships are established between the space and the elements, as well as amongst the elements themselves. Space is formed by our perception of these relationships.

How we define these relationships, whether through form, colour, scale, hierarchy, rhythm of pattern, unity/tension, or other means creates perceptions of beauty and taste - AESTHETICS.

By creatively and seamlessly integrating function and ergonomics with aesthetics, we are able to influence users of the space on both physical and emotional levels. Depending on how we arrange the relationships of elements, we have the ability and responsibility to invoke different SENSES such as calm, comfort, inspiration, and even gratitude.

As planners of Space, Aesthetics, and Senses we strive to craft environments where people thrive, explore, restore, be thrilled, collaborate, create, and just want to linger in that little bit longer.
