PURCHASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

  • Preparing and submitting for the Client’s approval purchase orders for completion of interior installations and purchase of Merchandise;

  • Upon receipt of the Client’s approval and appropriate initial payment, placing orders for Merchandise and interior installations;

  • Receiving all correspondence, such as acknowledgements, invoices, and shipping notices related to the project and promptly processing all such information on the Client’s behalf and keeping them apprised of any issues that arise.

  • Merchandise and interior installations specified by the Designer/Project Manager may, if the Client wish to purchase them, be purchased through the Designer/Project Manager who will act as the agent in the sale;

  • For high-value, bulk, and ad-hoc purchases, the Designer/Project Manager may request to establish a client agency account whereby the Client shall advance funds to the Designer/Project Manager to facilitate payments to vendors;

  • Both parties should agree upon an amount up to which the Designer/Project Manager may make purchases without prior approval from the Client in order to facilitate the timely delivery of the project;

  • The Designer/Project Manager may, at times, request the Client to engage other vendors to provide Merchandise or interior installations but will assist the Client in obtaining bids or negotiating proposal san din the awarding of contracts upon request;

  • The Designer/Project Manager is not responsible for the performance, quality, timely completion or delivery of any work, materials, or equipment furnished by other vendors but will be the Client’s advocate and liaison and work with them to complete in a timely manner.
